Contributor Terms

These terms apply to individuals approved to contribute images to Illinois Visual Data.

1. Eligibility
Contributors must be at least 18 years old and reside in Illinois.

2. Ownership
Contributors confirm they own all images they submit and that the images are original.

3. Image Capture Rules
Images must be taken legally in public spaces. Images may not include minors, private property interiors, or content obtained unlawfully.

4. Rights Granted
Approved contributors grant Illinois Visual Data the right to use, reproduce, modify, license, and distribute approved images for data, research, and commercial purposes.

5. Payment
Payment is made only for images that are reviewed and approved. Submission does not guarantee payment.

6. Removal and Rejection
Illinois Visual Data reserves the right to reject or remove any image that does not meet guidelines.

7. Changes to Terms
These terms may be updated at any time. Continued participation indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
